The Swift Select 164 is a 3-berth campervan which unlike a motorhome is a van conversion, the main reason for people buying a campervan, is because they want to have the versatility of a vehicle small enough to use as a second car, something for everyday use when not being used as a camper.
The Swift Select 164 fits the bill perfectly, as at just 6.4 metres long the Select 164 has most of the home comforts you will find in a much larger motorhome and can be driven on a normal car license. It is fitted with a 2-litre turbo diesel engine producing 115 bhp so has ample power, fitted to a six-speed gearbox,
There are four belted seats in the Swift Select 164 and the two cab seats swivel round, which uses the cab space as extra room to relax in the evenings, the dining table has a rotating extension leaf creating ample space for two or three people .high impact scratch resistant flooring, double glazed windows and fly screens ,electric entrance step, good cupboards and storage space.
As you would expect in the Swift select 164 , cooking facilities are compact, however the Select 164 comes with a two-burner gas hob, and a mini grill so you can cook a meal in this van, just bear in mind there is no oven, also comes with a stainless-steel sink and both are covered with a smoked glass lid. There is a fold away worktop extension to help with food preparation, the fridge is an 85 litre dometic 3-way fridge which can run on gas, mains electric, or the 12 v Battery.
The main double bed is in the rear right side of the van the bed is 1.85x 1.30 m, which is 6ft 1” x 4ft 3” so is quite adequate for most people couples. The front single is 1.70m x 0.90m. 5ft 7” x 1ft 9” so this bed is only suitable for a child.
As you would expect in a campervan the washroom is compact but is adequate and large enough to have a hot shower, there is swivel electric flush thetford cassette toilet, a small fixed wash hand basin, mirrored vanity cupboard, roof light with fly screen. 60 litre fresh water and 40 litre waste tanks. The swift select 164 has Insulated pipework for winter use.
