Top tips for motor homing at Christmas

Plan your perfect location so you can find somewhere to wild camp overnight with a Mountain view or a loch side location – so when you open the curtains you can enjoy the view and have the perfect place to explore in the morning.

  • The motorhome has fully programmable central heating system, so you don’t need to worry about the motorhome being cold.
  • Decorations are part of the fun of Christmas – why not pick up some battery-operated lights, paper decorations and decorate the motorhome you could even pick up a little Christmas tree.
  • Plan your food in advance – there is nothing stopping you having a cooked breakfast, Christmas lunch however might be a little bit different, we have cooked lobster Thermador in the motorhome before - so why not have lobster then if you can premade your Christmas dinner you could warm this in the oven or why not enjoy something totally different such as fillet steak and all the trimmings.
  • After lunch we all like to snuggle in and watch a movie so don’t forget to take some of your favourite Christmas DVD’s just encase you can’t get tv reception.

Motorhome holidays are all about making memories and what better way of celebrating Christmas and creating your very own special memory.
