The Barra

The New Barra is a brand new addition for 2024. With a roomy feel and streamlined design, this fantastic motorhome is ideal for couples wishing to tour Scotland in style and can also be driven on a normal car license.   

The Barra is 7.4 meters long and has been designed for maximum living space, with a fixed double bed in the rear another double also available hidden out of the way into the roof space. The wrap-around lounge, combined with the comfortable captain style swivel seats in the cab, provides extra space to relax in the evenings. 

The Barra has ample storage room, with a fully fitted kitchen and mid-shower room and toilet. The Barra also boasts a TV system, fully programmable heating, a hot water system, a rear-view camera, parking sensors and roof-mounted solar panels. The inner skins create a full GRP body shell that is least susceptible to damage.

Other features of The Barra are air conditioning, cruise control, hands-free smartphone connection, full-media player system with iPad / iPhone Bluetooth connection.

Inside The Barra you will also find a  full-electronic thermostatic central-heating, rear cycle carrier and captain swivel seats 

For optimal safety, all our motorhomes are fitted with passenger airbags and have the habitation door on the passenger side. The dangers of a habitation door that opens from the driver's side onto the main road are very obvious and all too common.

                                                         DOUBLE ISLAND BED LAYOUT

Unlike most motorhomes, The Barra is built on a low-line chassis, giving the motorhome a luxury car feel to drive, with little or no body roll. 

The Barra is comes with outside table, chairs and barbeque, all of which are supplied free. Other outside features of The Barra are a water hose, ramps and hook-up cables, all stored in the large rear garage. A bike rack is fitted if you wish to hire or bring bikes on your trip.  

Privacy glass and courtesy lights are other small but convenient features of The Barra

The rear double bed has a very comfortable memory foam mattress. Being an Island-style bed, you can access it from both sides so you don’t have to disturb your partner if using the toilet during the night.  

There are wardrobes on either side of the bed, along with lots of cupboards to give ample storage. The bed hinges up on struts to reveal another large storage area.  A sliding door closes the bedroom from the rest of the habitation area if extra privacy is required. 

The L shaped kitchen is fully equipped with a 3 burner electronic igniters’, a good, large-sized slim fridge-freezer, oven, grill . There is ample worktop space which comes complete with kitchen utensils, crockery, pots and pans.  

The  luxury washroom is fully fitted and has a power shower and electric flushing toilet with a sealed cassette for hygiene. with a vanity mirror, small sink and sufficient cupboard space. This motorhome has the latest electronic combi boiler for heating and hot water. 

We fit all our motorhomes with LPG (Autogas)  tanks which can be topped at fuel stations so no need to remove bottles for refilling.
