The Barra

The New Barra is an exciting addition for 2026. With its roomy feel and streamlined design, this fantastic motorhome is perfect for couples or families touring Scotland in comfort and style — and it can be driven on a standard car licence.

At 7.6 metres long, the Barra has been designed to maximise living space. A fixed island-style double bed with a luxurious memory foam mattress sits at the rear, with wardrobes on either side and plenty of cupboard storage. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the main living space for added privacy. A second double bed is cleverly tucked away in the roof space, providing additional sleeping capacity when needed.

The  lounge area has comfortable captain-style swivel seats in the cab create a spacious, sociable area to relax in the evenings. The fully fitted kitchen includes a 3-burner hob with electronic ignition, oven, grill, large slimline fridge-freezer, ample worktop space, and comes fully equipped with crockery, utensils, pots, and pans.

The luxury washroom is fully fitted with a power shower, an electric flushing toilet with a sealed cassette for maximum hygiene, a vanity mirror, a compact sink, and sufficient cupboard storage. For year-round comfort, the Barra is equipped with the latest electronic combi boiler, providing efficient heating and hot water on demand.

For added convenience, the Barra also includes a TV system, fully programmable heating, privacy glass, courtesy lights, USB charging ports, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, and roof-mounted solar panels. Built on a low-line chassis with a full GRP body shell, the Barra not only feels stable and car-like to drive, but is also more resistant to exterior damage.

Outside, you’ll find a large garage with space for levelling ramps, water hose, and hook-up cables — with plenty of room left for the extras you’d like to bring along. A bike rack can also be fitted if you wish to bring or hire bicycles during your trip.
