The Islay

The new Islay boasts a brand new streamlined design and layout for 2023 and can be driven on a normal car license. This new design is to a high specification and is ideal for couples who wish to tour Scotland in comfort. 

At only 6.7 metres long the new 2023 Islay is perfect for couples. This motorhome is small enough to cope with tight spaces and small roads but large enough for ample living space.

The design allows for maximum living space, with a fixed double bed in the rear and a small double also available via the dinette/lounge seat conversion. The wrap-around lounge, combined with the comfortable captain style swivel seats in the cab, provides extra space to relax in the evenings.

The Islay also boasts fully programmable heating and hot water systems, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, satellite navigation (free on request), a sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control,  and a hands-free smartphone connection.

In addition, you will have a full media player system with an iPad or iPhone Bluetooth connection and USB ports to give optimal entertainment options.

Scottish Tourer’s campervans are fitted with awnings so customers can have cover when sitting outside with the picnic table, chairs and barbeque, all of which are supplied free. 

The Islay is a low profile model which does not have the bulbous top above the cab, making this motorhome very economical on fuel, with around 30-34 MPG.  

The new 2022 / 23 model of the Islay has been designed for maximum lounge space for relaxing. Both the driver and passenger seats are captains style and swivel round towards the dinette, increasing the lounge space and giving greater convenience for eating and relaxing in your motorhome.  

The Islay also benefits from fast-close pleated sliding blinds that are fitted to the cab windows for privacy. The large luxury washroom is fully fitted and has a power shower and electric flushing toilet. There is also ample storage lockers on each side with a wardrobe and a large storage area under the fixed double bed, which can be accessed from the outside for golf clubs or other outdoor equipment you plan to use.  

We fit all our motorhomes with LPG (Autogas) tanks which can be topped at fuel stations, so no need to remove bottles for refilling.
