Which Motorhome Suits Your needs best?

This to us is the biggest part of the holiday, picking the right van to suit you and your family. Please tell us about the needs of your family and we can help you choose what motorhome is the most suitable for you and your family.

  • What age are the children?
  • What are the sleeping arrangements for your children?
  • Do you require a travel cot?
  • Do you need a motorhome that has separate beds for multiple children?
  • What are you planning to travel with i.e. is your child still in a pram?
  • Do you require bicycle hire?

We have motorhomes to suit all families with children of all ages and with your help we can ensure you choose the most appropriate motorhomes to the needs of your family be it you need a camping cot for the younger ones, or a large garage for storing prams or multiple sleeping options there is a motorhome to suit every family’s needs.

Plan Ahead – Where to go and what to do ?

Planning a route which is flexible and adaptable is recommended, it lets everyone know whats happening and gives the kids something to look forward too.  There is nothing worse than a bored child while travelling if you plan ahead and decide your route you can keep journey short and stop regularly avoiding the constant “are we there yet?”.

When planning activities, in our experience the simple things are always huge hits. Picking up a small fishing net and heading down to the rock pools to search for crabs, little rivers for tadpoles, a bubble wand, bucket and spades for the beach and a kite always gives hours of entertainment.

This isn’t only fun for the children, but the adults to, there really isn’t anything more satisfying than enjoying making memories together as a family.

Days out don’t have to be costly, Scotland has lots of beautiful parks and walks, why don’t you make a picnic, park up and spend the day exploring, or head to one of the lovely beaches with a bucket and spade.

Depending on your route you can choose what suits your needs, maybe you enjoy history and like to visit some of the many historic Scotland sites such as castles or Battle fields of Culloden or looking for a more action packed holiday of cycling and walking we have plenty ideas of where to visit and places not to miss, see some of our route planners on our website for some tips and ideas where you could be spending.
